Gary L. Huusko has been practicing law since 1983. Gary is a registered Patent Attorney admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. His practice includes Intellectual Property Law, which consists of the areas of Patent and Trademark prosecution and protection, Copyrights, and Intellectual Property Licensing. Gary also practices in all areas of corporate transactional law, including corporate formation, purchase and sale of businesses, contract issues and general business advice. Gary is active in the Apple Valley and the Dakota County Regional Chambers of Commerce, and the Eagan Rotary Club, and he recently served on the District 196 Foundation as Vice-Chair, and the U.S. Math Recovery Council Board of Directors as Chair of the Policy Committee. Gary is past Chair of the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Gary has served on the Budget Advisory Council for Independent School District 196, the Legislative Advisory Council for Independent School District 196 and he is a past Assistant District Governor for Area 2 of Rotary District 5950. He is a former ISD 196 School Board member, a past Chair of The Eagan Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors, a past President of the Apple Valley Rotary Club, a past Board member of the Northern Dakota County Chamber Foundation, and a past Chair of the Eagan Advisory Planning Commission. Gary is active in the Eagan Rotary Club, and served as its President in 2016-2017
He also served on the Capital Facilities and Finance Commission of the Minnesota Conference of the United Methodist Church and has served in the past on the Methodist Foundation Board of Directors and. He lives in Eagan with his wife.
